Closing the can is child's play: just turn the lid until the green light comes on. The Atmos Canister then sucks the air out of the can, creating a vacuum that keeps the coffee fresher for longer. To open the can again, simply press the button on the lid.
The airtight silicone seal prevents air, moisture and other odors from the kitchen from entering. The Atmos Canister is also ideal for storing loose foods such as leaf teas, nuts, cereals, cookies or candy. Please note that ground coffee or flour should not be stored in the Atmos Canister as they could clog the vacuum lid and prevent it from locking properly. The container should also not be stored upside down.
