Agri Evolve
promotes agroforestry as a means to increase both agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability. The initiative focuses on improving the livelihoods of local farmers by integrating tree planting with agricultural practices, thereby significantly improving the ecological and economic health of the region.

Backgrounds
Cultivating this demanding coffee plant requires careful care and expertise. It typically grows in the shade of larger trees that provide protection from direct sunlight. Agri Evolve implements the coffee plant's environmental needs using agroforestry systems. Thanks to this particularly sustainable cultivation method, not only is the biodiversity of the local flora and fauna preserved, but the coffee cherries also receive optimal ripening conditions.
A key component of Agri Evolve's agroforestry efforts is the establishment of community tree nurseries. This helps combat deforestation and CO2 emissions.
In addition, Agri Evolve has enabled the construction of energy-efficient stoves for over 1,400 families, reducing the demand for firewood and protecting the region's forest resources.

The coffee
Uganda is known as one of the world's largest producers of Robusta coffee. Over the years, however, Uganda has also established itself as a producer of high-quality Arabica coffee. Due to its climate and extremely nutrient-rich soil, some of the world's finest coffees are grown here.
The combination of the Natural processing method and the medium roast results in a fruity coffee with notes of red berries, jam, and milk chocolate. The Uganda Filter is particularly well-suited for brewing in a filter coffee machine, with a hand filter, or with an AeroPress.
